Elmer Dean Martinez, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 1st, 2020. Elmer was born on April 8, 1960 to Ida Sanchez and Tomas Martinez in Salt Lake City, Utah. Elmer grew up in Salt Lake City and later moved to Grand Junction Colorado.
Elmer enjoyed camping, fishing, socializing, low riders and music.
A gathering for Elmer will be on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. To ensure compliance with current social distancing guidelines, we kindly ask that you call the funeral parlor at (801) 474-9119 between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Saturday to make a reservation.
