Emilie Ann Payton Wheaton
Emilie was born on May 11th, 1973, the first of four loving brothers and sister, passed away on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Emilie married Adam Wheaton in the summer of 1990, later divorced. Emilie dearly loved her four children and devoted her life to them while she was well. She worked as a CNA at nursing homes and was kind to those she cared for. Emilie enjoyed fishing and camping. She always loved doing activities with her family.
Survived by her children Christopher Royden, Madeline, Connor and Carson; mother Cheryl (Tom) Nixon; father Royden (Marcia) Payton; brother Chris (Kim) Payton; sister Rebecca (Gio) Maio; 4 step-sisters and step-brothers; a niece and nephew; and many cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Brandon Payton; grandparents James and Mary Payton and Robert W. and Susan T. Lentz.
Emilie’s family loves her dearly and will miss her presence in this life. Emilie will be interred with her brother Brandon and with her grandparents James and Mary Payton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00 AM at Hurricane City Cemetery. A memorial dinner to follow at the New Harmony LDS Ward for family and close friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Emilie's passing and of the struggles she had prior to her death. She and I were such good friends for so many years. I wish I could have done more to help her in any way, but I didn't know what to do, I am so sorry.
