Erin Simmons was born April 3, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Kevin and Toni Simmons. She passed away July 12, 2013 in Murray, Utah, at the age of 35.
Her presence lit up a room, and her tender heart built deep connections with countless family members and friends throughout the years. Erin was a spelling bee champion, talented track athlete, dancer and social butterfly. A beauty with amazing style, Erin excelled at planning events and envisioning special touches to elevate any occasion.
Erin attended Nibley Park Elementary and Clayton Middle School, and graduated from East High School and Utah State University.
She leaves behind a loving family including her parents, three siblings and their spouses, and also her cherished extended family and lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A reception will immediately follow the service until 9:00 p.m., where friends may visit with Erin's family.
