Fausto Peter Costanzo
June 25, 1947 - May 16, 2024
Dad passed away peacefully at his home May 16, 2024. Dad was born June 25, 1947 in Pedivigliano Italy . He came to the US when he was 7 with his parents Massimo and Rita Costanzo and two brothers. His sister was born a few years later.
He was drafted into the Army in 1966 and proudly served 6 years. When he was discharged, he moved back home and started working at Wolfs Sporting Goods store where he met mom. They later married and together they built a beautiful cabin at Beaver Springs Ranch in Oakley. Every weekend they could be found enjoying snowmobiling, fishing, 4 wheeling and just sitting on the patio watching the deer and moose play in their yard.
Dad worked at Hercules (ATK) for 40 years before retiring. During his time there he worked in many departments and was president of the Union for a few years. When he retired they moved to Overton Nevada where they would spend the winters and come back to Utah to summer at their cabin .
He was preceded in death by his parents Massimo and Rita Costanzo and his wife Barbara. He leaves behind his daughter Tina (Daymond) Kofford, grandchildren Kylie Kofford and Lance Corporal Daymond Hunter Kofford Jr, two great-grandchildren, brothers Roger and Joe Costanzo and sister Mary (Brad) Andreason.
A graveside service will be on Monday, May 20 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 275 U Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
In Loving Memory
My deepest sympathy for the loss of Faust. He was a great father and man that emulated love in all that he did. I so fondly remember him sitting at Max and Rita's kitchen table laughing and always enjoying himself. My prayers are with you all.
