Fetauaipule T. Gasu

April 9, 1952 - August 31, 2017

Pule was born in Satuimalufilufi Upolu to Talafu Leuma Gasu and Tuuinatu Satia Gasu on April 9, 1952.  He was the third oldest of his 13 siblings.  In 1983 he married his sweetheart Ane Paulo in Santa Ana, California.  They were then sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1990 with their children.

Pule served many callings not only for his LDS church but for his Gasu family over his lifetime.  He will always be remembered as a Hero for the sacrifices he made for his children and siblings to prosper in the United States.  We will forever miss his humbleness, generosity towards others, his beautiful smile, contagious humor, and his style (especially his famous sun glasses).

He is survived by his children Sinafaafetai Gasu-Lolani (Elden), Leuma Bob Gasu (Heather), King Niko Gasu (Josephine), and his 12 adoring grandchildren who loved him immensely.

His children would like to thank Starks Funeral Parlor and Elysian Burial Gardens for their support and care.  We would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to the IHC 4th floor Neurological ICU; Drs. Smith, Marshal, Rollins and the numerous nurses and staff for all their tireless efforts, resources, and support these past three months.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 9, 2017 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Pesega Chapel located on 4605 Westpoint Drive WVC, UT 84130. Following his service he will be laid to rest with his precious granddaughter Miliama Gasu at Elysian Gardens located at 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City.
