Francis Blair Malouf

Francis Blair Malouf passed away on March 27, 2025.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Francis Bosomia Malouf and Daisey Fadel Malouf.  Blair had 4 siblings, Colleen, Marylynn, Maurice & Shirley.  He graduated from East High in Salt Lake and later attended the U of U.  Blair was also in the Army and served in Washington DC.  Any of the older bowlers left in the valley may remember him from his days at the Pal-D-Mar bowling alley. He also did real estate for many years. In his later years he spent a lot of time fishing at Flaming Gorge.  Fishing at the Gorge was his passion and he made a lot of good friends there.

Blair was preceded in death by his father, mother & sister Colleen.

He is survived by is sister Marylynn (Gary) Juhlin; his brother Maurice (Darla) Malouf; his sister Shirley Malouf; his daughter Victoria & David Thorstead (Margo);  his son Mark Malouf.  He is also survived by the love of his life Judy Gertino.  Blair and Judy spent many years together and were very close.

A celebration of life and a viewing will be Wednesday April 9th from 6-8 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East.  Guests are encouraged to use the parking lot and entrance on the north side of the building. A graveside service will be Thursday April 10th at 1:00 pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South.
