Frank David Welch was unexpectedly taken from his family and friends on June 3rd, 2017. He was born on April 16th, 1958 to Frank and JoElla Welch in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Frank (Dave) was a strong independent man who fought vigilantly to defend and protect those he loved, and those who needed protection. Preceded in death by his brother and friend, Francis Arlin Welch and best friend, Robert (Bob) Grossaint.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, June 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends. Death at any age is difficult. May you find comfort in the words found at 1 Corinthians 15:26. It says: And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. And Hosea 13:14 says "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them." A wonderful promise from Jehovah God who cannot lie.
