Frank K. Wachter Sr.

“Pop”

Frank passed away too soon in a tragic accident on July 24, 2011 at the young age of 57.

Frank enjoyed working on his car, spending time in the outdoors and golfing. He was a true friend to many and would do anything for anyone.

The most important thing in Frank’s life was his family.  He loved watching movies with them, hosting family BBQ’s and spending time together at his home.   He taught his family to work hard by his example.  He was strong and fearless.

Frank adored his grandchildren and they felt the same, as illustrated in this note by Shelby:

“Frank Wachter was the greatest grandpa ever.  He had taught me a lot of things that will make me a better person for the future.  He had always made me laugh all the time.  He was the greatest man that lived.  I will miss him dearly and he’ll always be in my heart.  He had raised me since I was born and I’ll always remember the greatest times we had.”

He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 38 beautiful years, Suzanne; children Frank Jr. (Amanda), Maygan (Dustin) O’Donnell; grandchildren Shelby, Gage, Alex, Tatumn; one new grandbaby on the way; mother; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; many extended family members; and a host of dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Friends are invited to join his family as they pay tribute to his life on Friday, July 29th at 7:30 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

The family wishes to thank Good Samaritans Anne and Russell who helped in time of need.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Branch in the name of Frank Wachter Sr.

We miss you much and love you more.
