Frederick William Schwab
July 21, 1931 - September 19, 2021
WHEN I GO
Don’t put me in a cold steel Box
In a hole of earth and rocks
Let fire cure my body ills
And free my spirit as God wills.
And let the ashes that remain
Become a part of sun and rain.
And settle on the mountains high
Where flowers smile up to the sky
Then let my spirit drift forever
As driftwood on the river
