Gabriel Granados Quinonez

Gabriel Granados Quinonez, beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and friend died suddenly on Monday, October 3^rd.  He was 59.

Gabriel (Gabi) Granados was born in Durango, Mexico on February 26^th, 1952, and spent the majority of his young life in La Ciudad Delicias, Chihuahua.  In 1975 he married Susana Tellez and soon relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah to raise their family.

Gabriel served as a prep cook and dishwasher for Gastronomy for over 20 years.  He loved and enjoyed sharing his time and delicious meals with family and friends.  Gabriel was truly an angel on earth; he lived to help others and always faced the day with a bright smile. He was always willing to help out family and friends with whatever they needed. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children Juan, Mario, and Rocio; granddaughter Abigail; mother Carolina; and brothers Sergio, Martin, and Rogelio.

Preceded in death by his father Aurelio and brother Francisco.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 9^th from 6 to 8 pm, with a vigil beginning at 7:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 10^th at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 174 East 900 South, Salt Lake City.
