Garrett Logan Jones

December 11, 1988 - February 23, 2026

Garrett Logan Jones, age 37, passed away at his home on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was born on December 11, 1988, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Janet Marie Jones and Arden Duncan Jones.

Logan spent his adult life in many professions but found his true passion when he joined SkyWest as a flight attendant, where he was among the most talented and beloved. Once he realized he could combine his zeal for travel with his unwavering professionalism, his life took off in a direction he never looked back from. His positive attitude and natural inclination to help others landed him countless accolades from passengers and coworkers alike.

In his personal life, Logan cherished time with close friends and family. He thrived outdoors, found love in every animal he encountered, and was a better chef than anyone had any business being — a fact he was more than happy to remind you of at the drop of a fork. His love and support were felt by everyone around him, and he was the kind to always insist you pay it forward rather than pay it back. Though he kept his circle close, those fortunate enough to be inside it benefited from his charm, his eagerness to help solve any problem, and the occasional joke that could knock you off your feet.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Ezell; his brother, Nathan Jones; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Logan’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Stark’s Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Guests are encouraged to park and enter on the north side of the building.

Logan you will be missed. You always made the best of any situation and carried yourself with great energy and a sense of humor. I remember our last time working together, instead of settling for an average overnight, you grilled hot dogs and created a memorable night for the entire crew. And the time before that, you were so kind when you learned we were putting our dog down the following day. Sending condolences to all those you’ve touched in this world, it’s undoubtedly many.
