On June 4th, 2009 at 10:45 AM Gary D. Hilfiker Sr. was called home to the Lord and to his son Mike. He was a friend and inspiration to many.
He left behind his loving wife of 6 years Chris; sons Gary Dean Jr. and David; sisters Carmen and Kathy; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held on June 18th at 11:00 AM at Sonrise Baptist Church, 3550 South 4400 West, West Valley City.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the G. Hilfiker Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

We enjoyed friendship and fellowship with Chris and Gary. We always looked forward to one of his great stories. The last time we spoke was in the hospital and Gary shared he had yet another opportunity to witness to one of his care takers. What a blessing to have known him. Gary will be truly missed.
