Gayle B Street

February 27, 1953 - June 9, 2011

Gayle B. Street

Gayle left us suddenly on June 9, 2011 after suffering a heart attack.  He was surrounded by his family who loves him.

He and his identical twin brother were born on February 27, 1953 Park City, Utah.  Gayle started in floor coverings at the age of 19 and co-owned Street and Associates since 1985 with Betty Sturdevant.  He was passionate about trap shooting and he had a deep interest in photography and enjoyed creating a beautiful picture out of an ordinary object.  Over the years, Gayle was a secret Santa to many families, never wanting children to go without Christmas.  He made Christmas for his own children last all day.  He was a tenderhearted man who gave quietly and generously.  Gayle, who gave all of his friends nicknames, was very witty and always had everyone laughing.  In all his life, he never had an enemy.  His passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many.

He is survived by children Bobby (Kathryn) and Randy (Andy); their mother Robyn; grandchildren Andy, Alisha, Sean, Alex; siblings Don, Ella Mae, Jimmy, Dan, his twin Dayle, Christine.

He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Friends and family will gather for a viewing and wake on Friday, June 17th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

In lieu of flowers a donations may be made at any Wells Fargo to the account of Gayle B. Street.
