Gayle Bowles
November 30, 1947 - July 1, 2010
Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away on July 1, 2010 peacefully in her home, although unexpectedly. Her passing has left a hole in our hearts.
She was born November 30, 1947 to Corwin and Blanche Bowles in Salmon, Idaho where she lived and attended school for her primary years. She graduated from Skyview High School in Logan, UT. Gayle was a meticulous bookkeeper and worked in this capacity for several different companies. She moved to Darby, MT where she had her only daughter, Heather. They moved back to Salt Lake and at the time of her passing she was still employed for US Mag where she has worked for the last 35 years. During that time she developed many close friendships. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings, most recently as Primary Teacher, which she loved. Gayle was one of the most giving and generous people you would have ever met. She always sacrificed her own needs for the needs of others. Gayle has unconditionally cared for her mother since her father’s passing for the last 20 years. She adored being a grandma to Hunter (13), Adalynne (9), and Hannah (4). She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter Heather Condos and son-in-law Monte Condos; three grandchildren; siblings Phyllis (Robert Parmenter), Kaydell (Elaine), Deanne, Rex (Ina), Shauna (John Martinez), Gary (Carmen), Steve (Julie), Kelly (Melanie), Brent (Cindy); mother Blanche.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Granger West 9th Ward, 4460 West Cortney (2800 So), West Valley City, where viewing will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held on Wednesday, July 7th at 1:00 PM the Afton City Cemetery, Afton, WY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
In Loving Memory
I was surprised and saddened to hear of Gayle's passing, even though it has been many years since I have been in contact with the Bowles family. I have fond memories of our teenage years in Richmond Utah, with Gayle and Shauna, and your sweet mother. To Gayles mother, siblings, daughter and grandchildren, I send my deepest condolences at this difficult time. May your cherished memories bring you comfort.

I send my sincere condolences to your entire family and friends as you try to make sense of the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and confidante. My heart aches for you at the devastation of the unexpected of one's mother, Heather. I can only offer a shoulder and my love. The world seems empty without your mom, that is your special shared love. I pray for peace and understanding for all of you.

Heather, I don't know if you remember me or not, but I worked with your Mom for about 18 yrs. She was the sweetest person, and always had time to listen to my problems! I will miss her very much, even tho' we never got together as we had planned to. May the Lord help you in your time of need and help Gayle watch over all of her Loved Ones. Love to you all.

Gayle was a wonderful colleague at US Magnesium and she will be truly missed. I worked directly with Gayle for 5 years and was so fortunate to learn the "ropes" of US Magnesium and gained unforgettable knowledge. My thoughts and best wishes go out to all of the family and friends of Gayle. She had a great sense of humor and would do anything for you. The entire US Magnesium family is saddened by her passing and we will always remember Gayle for the dedicated and hard working individual she was.

I send my sincere condolences to the entire family. I know that Gayle's passing has left a big whole in everybody's heart. Gayle was as close to being the sister I never had. She has always been there for me and I am going to miss her very much. She was like an angel on earth and her passing has also left a hole in my heart. I am so thankful to have had the honor having her in my life and having her as a dear friend because I loved her so much. I am so thankful that I listened to the spirit and went and saw Gayle Wednesday night instead of Thursday as I had planned--not knowing that would be the last time I would see her. I will cherish those last hours I spent with her along with the memories of our friendship. I know she is in a better place and I am sad for your family and myself because she was taken too soon--but I find peace knowing Heavenly Father has a plan for her and that comforts me. I know your family will miss her sweet spirit--she was truly a special person to everyone she came in contact with. Marian Cook West Valley City, Utah

To Gayle and her wonderful family, I just want to echo the other messages that have been sent. Gayle was a wonderful person from a wonderful family. I was so shocked when I opened up the Ravalli Republic today, but so glad I bought the paper today and found out. My love, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of you. I love whenever I run into Heather and her family and when I got to see Gayle with them.
