Genevieve Laura Reynolds Hickok
January 24, 1921 - June 24, 2021
On January 24, 1921, I was born to Willard Hyrum (Bish) Reynolds and Eve Munro Pyper. I have two brothers, Carl and Paul. A sister, Virginia Piepgrass. I attended elementary, junior high and high school in Utah, graduating from West High. I’ve been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
On June 8, 1940 I married Bert F. Hickok and had five children: Judith Yribar (Paul), Roger (Wanda), Nancy Bingham (Raymond), James (Denise), Richard (Barbara). They have given us 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. I have many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death: parents, brothers, sister, husband, grandson (Kelly Curtis), daughter-in-law (Wanda), son-in-law (Paul).
Love you all and I will miss you.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 7th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the main entrance and parking on the north side of the building. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 8th at 10:00 AM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and “N” Street.
