George O. Zoumadakis

"ZOOM"

Our beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away on May 7, 2012.

He was born on April 8, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Helen Zoumadakis.  He graduated from Judge Memorial High School in 1972.  He was owner of The Jocor, Zoom's Olympic Club and Manny's; he later worked in property management.

He is survived by his companion, Linda Hull; siblings Kathy (Chris) Floor, Melany Zoumadakis, and Wendy (Steve) Wright; ten nieces and nephews;.

Preceded in death by his parents; cousin and best friend Michael Zommadakis; and canine friends.

We lived in the same neighborhood and were all friends as children. My brother Tom, sister Kathy and I all have very fond memories of George, your parents, and all of you. Melanie was my best friend growing up. It was very sad to read of George's passing - too young! Our condolances for your loss. Tom, Kathy and Sherrie Moffat

I am shocked and sad of the passing of George, we had many fun times back in the day one that always comes to mind is the time George came by with his new Plymouth Cuda and we went for a ride up Millcreek canyon and what a ride it was. I will miss him dearly, My sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

I know some people in St. George who are afaird to go to Las Vegas or to Disneyland or the beach because they say they're afaird to drive those places. But you know St. George is by far the scariest place I've ever driven. That's what you get when 90% of the drivers in your town were taught to drive by Mr. Olson going 4 miles an hour around the temple. The other reason it takes so long to get anywhere in St. George everyone's going Mr. Olson around the temple speed still.
