Gerald Buchowski

May 30, 1930 - August 28, 2008

Gerald passed away on August 28th at the Residence at CareSource after a short illness. 

 

He was born May 30th, 1930 in Hamtramck, MI.  He served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1954 during the Korean Conflict.  Married Rose Marie January 10th, 1959.  Jerry spent 48 years of his life in the automotive industry in Design and Quality Assurance.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 71 and Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his two sisters Beverly Gearhart and Linda (Earl) Wojciechowski.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4th at 10:00 AM at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 3580 West 3650 South (Lancer Way), West Valley City.  Entombment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. and T Street, Salt Lake City. 

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
