In Loving Memory
Dear Lori, Shawn and Bruce, We are deeply saddened by the news of your mother's passing. She has been a dear friend since Shawn and Doug became good friends at Hygiene Elementary School in the 1970s. We enjoyed wonderful times together for more than 30 years. Your mom was a beautiful lady and a deeply caring friend who always shared her fabulous and radiant smile each time we met. She will be greatly missed. Sending hugs and love to all of you. Betti & Dennis

I was sorry to read of Geri's death. Geri helped me out during Election time in the Longmont office. She was a wonderful funny lady. Before she moved to Utah she came in and as always had a funny story to tell. I will miss her. Rose

I am sad to see that Geri has passed. She worked for me at the University for a while, and then she was one of the "registration ladies" during the summers at CU. She was one of the most upbeat people I've ever known. My sincere condolences.

We were neighbors for many years and watched the family grow. We were so proud of each of you, Lori, Shawn and Bruce. Gerry was a good friend and we even got together after she moved to Salt Lake. Our son-in-law just died of pancreatic cancer after 18 mos. so we are very symphathetic as to what she and you have been through. I will always think of her as doing the best in everything she did including her faith. She will be missed.

I spent many afternoons over at the Scharf home playing with Bruce, my childhood friend. Geri made me feel so at home, I will always remember her as a kind and gracious person. It was also great to see her years later when she served as an election judge at my precinct. It was always so nice to walk into the firehouse and see her friendly face and spend a little time chatting and reminiscing. My deepest sympathies to all of you. Trina

On behalf of my family and in memory of my own parents with whom Jer had life-long and loving relations, I mourn your loss. With her passing, Jer has delivered us to a place where images of her well lived life have fixed themselves in the permanence of our individual memories and spiritually linked us together simply by virtue of having walked alongside her. I will remember Jer as one who was held in highest esteem by my family. As a very young child I can recall teen-aged Jer visiting each holiday with her tempera paintbox to apply a facsimile of an old Christmas card to our living room mirror. My folks, Millie and Chester Balukin, very much looked forward to those visits. Take heart, Joyce, Lori, Bruce, Shawn, dear godmother Bill, and all who were touched by Jer. Night is not only the setting of the sun, but the rise of billions of points of light in the heavens. Warm regards,
