Gertrude Dalton

Our Lady of Lourdes came to the home of Gertrude Dalton to usher her to the Sacred Heart of her Son in heaven on Sunday, February 11th 2018 at the age of 62. Grateful, even in her suffering and illness, she was profoundly devoted to her Catholic faith. She died peacefully in her sleep while in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones here on earth.

Now joining the heavenly host with her loving husband, Michael Joseph Dalton, Gertrude is faithfully remembered by her three beloved children, Jonathan, Michael, and Katalyn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Michael Decker, and her brothers, Gerard Decker, Leonard Decker, and Michael Decker Jr.. She is survived by her four sisters and eight brothers with whom she shared a sacred bond. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Park City, Utah on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  The Rite of Committal will follow the celebration of the Mass at Park City Cemetery and a brief reception will be hosted at the parish to conclude the celebration of Gertrude's life.
