Grayson Andrew Hatfield
October 27, 2005 - May 10, 2026
For the past three years, he had been living semi-independently at Scenic View Academy in Provo, Utah, an exceptional program designed to teach essential life skills to autistic young adults. When asked his opinion about being autistic, Grayson simply replied, “I like it. It just feels normal.”
Donations may be made to Scenic View academy – scholarship fund – at 5455 River Run Ave. in Provo, Utah in Grayson’s name.
May his memory be eternal!
In Loving Memory
I was so struck by the photo of Grayson in his obituary- it says so much. I didn’t know Grayson; I was introduced to him through his obituary, he sounds like an amazing person who enjoyed life and his accomplishments and taught many people a lot about life. May he rest in peace and may his family be strengthened by the wonderful memories of having him while you did. What a special human being!

Grayson was an awesome friend to be around he will definitely be missed by every one here at scenicview and I enjoyed him teaching me magic tricks and trying to convince me and my boyfriend to go skydiving

To me he was like a brother, a sibling that I never had. He would always want to show me magic tricks and each time they amazed me.

Grayson taught me how to play Rumy. We were always playing rumy in class, and we were competitive! Everytime I play with my son I think of Grayson. He brought me so much joy as a student. He tried so hard at everything and he was willing to fail and try again!! To see him have success truly gave me purpose as a teacher. I am so sad at his passing and I will never, ever forget him.
