Grover Rich Brockbank

1941-2010

Our beloved Grover Rich Brockbank died on February 10th, 2010, after a long valiant battle with cancer.

His life was dedicated to the pursuit of creating energy from waste and contributing to saving the earth.  The business endeavors he worked on continue to go forward today.  Through the years he lived and traveled in many places including California, Texas, Arizona, Western Europe, South America and Australia.

He had passion for golf, and everyone who knew him thought he was the “nicest guy on the planet”.  He was an ultimate optimist, all the way to the end.

He is survived by his longtime sweethearts Suze Harrington and Biscuit; two daughters Maria Brockbank and Gloria Rich; son Grover Brian Brockbank; two grandchildren Paul and Holly; sister Gaylie Ann Morehead; and aunts Gloria Hendricks and Ruth Rich.

A family graveside dedication will be held on Saturday, February 13th at 2 PM at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 “N” Street.  Friends and family are invited to a gathering in his honor at 2131 Connor Park Cove at 4 PM following graveside.

In Loving Memory

Gloria Hendricks contacted me yesterday to tell me that Grover had passed in February, I'm so sorry. Grover was a good friend that I met on a 15 day Christmas Cruise in 1989 with Gloria. We became good friends during the cruise and after when he would visit the desert w/Gloria when I worked there for Marriott. Great laugh, good golfer, loved single malt scotch, loved his powerful cars, loved his children and did a lot for Gloria who considered Grover to be her own son. Great guy, I'm sorry to see him go & will pray for him. I can hear his laugh now...won't forget him our his x wifes lion stories.
