Ha Huynh
March 23, 1965 - January 15, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Ha Huynh, who peacefully lost her battle with cancer on January 15, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by her loving family at home.
Ha was born on March 23, 1965, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Duong Huynh and Mau Lien. She grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Chợ Lớn, alongside her seven siblings – two sisters and five brothers. In 1980, Ha and her family embarked on a journey to the United States, where they settled in Utah, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future.
A kind and obedient soul, Ha was known for her charming personality, always striving to follow the rules and to live with integrity. She graduated from Viewmont High School and, after working various jobs, she found her long-term career at Northrop Grumman, where she dedicated 24 years of her life as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler.
Ha met the love of her life, Phung Huynh, while out dancing with her older brother, and the two were married in 1984. Their love and partnership flourished for 40 years, and together they raised two children, Linda and Brandon, and enjoyed the blessing of two grandchildren, Olivia and Mia and bonus grandchildren, Jaiden and Jade.
Those who knew Ha would describe her as hardworking, spunky, and deeply loving. She had a playful spirit, especially when it came to her favorite games of Blackjack and 3-card Poker, where she always seemed to find herself with a royal match.
Her infectious sense of humor could brighten any room, and she had an uncanny ability to lift the spirits of those around her, particularly during any football games. While she didn’t have a favorite team, she was always cheering for the one that would win her money! She had a natural gift for making everyone feel special, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ha leaves behind her heartbroken family: her loving husband, Phung Huynh; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Millar; her son, Brandon Huynh; and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia and Mia Millar. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Vinh Tai Huynh, Ham Tai Huynh, and Jacky Huynh.
A celebration of Ha’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use parking and entrance located on the north side of the building.
She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1:oo PM at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City.
Ha’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with everyone she met.

Dearest Mommy, I will forever live through you. While I will miss you on earth side with me .. I’m so happy that you get to finally rest at peace. You fought so so hard. I love you.
