Hal Michael Shore
March 21, 1953 - May 20, 2019
It was on Monday May 20th, 2019 when Mike passed through the veil and was reunited with those that have passed before him. He was 66 years old. He came into the world March 21, 1953 in Salt Lake City, to his now deceased parents, Hal and Darlene Shore. There is no doubt he was received with love and excitement.
Mike had a love for life and all that it had to offer. He loved spending time with his friends and family. The way he showed his love was through sharing his passions in life: spending as much time outdoors, fishing at Fish Lake, trips to Lake Powell, showing his collection of diecast model cars and working on his own cars. He was indeed a collector. When time permitted, he was on his Harley Davidson, riding through the city and up into the mountains. He would ride his Harley for hours. Dressed in his black leather vest and his long red hair braided in the back, he knew that was where his freedom was. You were lucky if you were able to ride with him. As he got older, he lived a life of solitude. Though Mike enjoyed company, he never wanted to burden anyone. He had a big heart and he looked for ways to share it. Mike will be missed, but we know he is in a good place. He is happy and in peace.
Mike is survived by his loving five children, Ryan (Anna), Leslee (Jake), Lindsay, Kristen, Sharon, 13 grandchildren and his younger brother Tom.
“We can’t fully appreciate joyful reunions later without the tearful separations now. The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life.”
-Russell M. Nelson
