Cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and mother passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2014. Born January 8, 1974 in Sandy, Utah.
Married Brandon Michael Smith (divorced). Hali was a loving and devoted mother to her son Braxton. He was her everything and she loved him dearly. She was his champion throughout life.

Hali graced our lives with her unique spirit and loving and giving attitude. She lived her life on her own terms. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her devotion to her son.

Survived by her son Braxton Michael Smith; mother Cindy (Dennis) Lloyd; father Ron (Pat) Tingey; siblings Nathan (Jennifer) Tingey, Danny (Kelli) Lloyd, David Brandon Lloyd, Eilsha (Nico) Suazo, Joshua (Robyn) Scharman, Matthew (Brittney) Scharman, Amy (Gene) Scharman Silva; grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Care of our precious Hali was entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A private graveside service for family will immediately follow at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S. Memory Lane, Holladay.

You will be greatly missed by your family sister! I wanted a sister so much growing up with all brothers, when my mom and dad married not only did I get a wonderful dad but I got the sister I always wanted! I love you. You will always and forever be in my heart!

Hali I Miss you so much. I have so many memories of growing up with you around. You were like a sister more than a niece since we are only 5 years apart. You will always be missed but I know you are in good hands. I know this is going to be so hard for Braxton, I just hope he will let family be in his life. I love you and I will always miss you.
