“Never, never, never give up”. Winston Churchill
Our mother Helen Huber Larter, 96, was born September 21st, 1913 to Lenore and Albert James Huber and died January 5th, 2010.
On December 24th, 1934 she married Clark Larter. After 57 years of marriage he preceded her in death.
Mother was a strong, outspoken, independent woman who instilled a strong work ethic in her family. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Mom provided a warm and inviting home wherever we lived. She worked for the Federal Government for nearly 30 years and managed the Commodore Apartments until she was 92, forging innumerable friendships. Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her children Dr. Patrick (Linda) Larter and Dr. Susan Brady; five grandchildren Jacquelyn Brady, Elizabeth (Scott) Levy, Wendy Meyer, Kristy (William) Henderson and Jennifer (Allen) Woods; and 12 great grandchildren Brecken, Cameron, Zachary, Erica, Tyler, Kara Joy, Meadow, Zane, Ashley, Natalie, Paige and Taylor Ann.
Friends may call upon the family for a wake on Friday, January 8th from 6 to 8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A private burial will be held at Bluffdale City Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the Avenues Courtyard and Intermountain Hospice for their kindness on Helen’s behalf.

In Loving Memory
