Herair “Harry” Sarkis Gulgulian
January 9, 1957 - April 1, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herair “Harry” Sarkis Gulgulian, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on January 9, 1957, in Beirut, Lebanon, Harry lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
A hardworking man, Harry spent years at the Kennecott Copper Mine before becoming the proud owner of his own mechanic shop. He loved helping people—often refusing payment from those in need—because his heart was as big as his skillset. To Harry, fixing cars wasn’t just a job; it was a way to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Harry was known for his fun-loving spirit and his deep love for his family. He cherished taking his wife, children, and all their cousins on countless road trips and camping adventures, creating lifelong memories along the way. His presence was a source of warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Stephanie Gulgulian; his children, Vreige (Agnesa Bakhshyan) and Natalie (Tyrone Farillas); his brothers, Vahe Gulgulian and Kevork Gulgulian (Gina, Sophia, and Sonya Gulgulian); and his adored grandchildren, Phoenix, Vreige Jr., and Leo Gulgulian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarkis and Leone Gulgulian, and his sister, Maral Gulgulian.
Harry found joy in the simple pleasures of life—playing hand drums, gathering with friends for Armenian poker, and his love for soccer. He will be remembered for his kindness, his passion for life, and the love he gave so freely to everyone around him.
His legacy of generosity and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, and friends and family can come together to honor and remember the wonderful man he was.
Rest in peace, Harry. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
In Loving Memory
In memory of Harry, so loving and true, A brother-in-law, a friend, and so much more too. He taught me to drive with patience and care, A guiding hand always, with love to spare. He gave without question, the shirt off his back, Helping those in need, never turning his track. With laughter and joy, he'd brighten the day, Making life lighter, in his own special way. A man full of life, with a heart open wide, He lived with compassion, with nothing to hide. Though now he is gone, his spirit will stay, In memories cherished, forever and a day. We miss you, dear Harry, more than words can say, But your love and your laughter will guide us each day. Rest in peace, knowing you gave us so much, A legacy of kindness, and a heart's gentle touch. My prayers are with his family Jennifer
