Herm, You crazy guy, as one of your "favorite" sisters, I love you and will miss you. I will miss having you call me at strange times and disguising your voice trying to fool me...good time for Caller ID. You know my heart is broken, I love you and tell our folks and Family "Hi" for me, and give Charlie a hug and tell him I love him and miss him. You two take care of each other and watch over us. I love, Tin

Julia, We are very sad to hear about, "Pachucito's" passing, but rejoice with angels and Jesus as they welcomed him into gates of heaven. May God bring you comfort as you accept that he is no longer in pain and lives through his children. Take care Juila and God bless you.....

Julia, and family, I wrote Herman a note, but I wanted you to know that I thank you for all the love and support you gave to my brother. He couldn't have asked for more, and I thank you for that, and I know that we will miss him, but I also know how empty your lives will be without him. You are the ones who will feel the loss the most. Thank you for loving him and taking care of him. Tine

Pops I am going to miss you so much. I am still trying to correct the grandkids from saying grandpo to grandpa but it doesn't work they all say he is grandpo, not to mention they all have different opinions on what we should do or songs to play but am afraid of how it would turn out (omg). I think you would be pleased with everything. We have honored your wishes with only a few minor changes (wink wink). As family is arriving I know the hardest part is yet to come. I love you

Uncle Herman you are going to a wonderful place. No one will ever replace you, your great wit,or your true Chicano style. We don't always share the time we should with the ones we love, nor do we express our feelings to them. We are truly sorry we are not able to be there with you all today to celebrate the life of a good man. With a heavy heart my Mom, wife and I hate to see you go. Family stay strong and be good to each other. Love you Uncle! Love you Brother!

Uncle Herman, I'm so glad we were able to re-connect a few years ago. We had lost track of each other for way too long. Thankfully we had some quality time together when I was in Utah, and also on your visit to California. I'll always remember those happy times. It was a pleasure - and an adventure - having an uncle like you. I'm going to miss you very much. Before you break make sure St Peter racks the balls tight ...
