Holly Luke Wallis Roth
July 26, 1953 - January 29, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Holly – Devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, wife and loving friend to many.
Holly Luke was born July 26, 1953, in Richfield, Utah to Charmaine and Bobby Luke. She attended Hillcrest and Brighton High Schools. Those who knew and loved her understood how she lived her life as a free spirit allowing her imagination and wings to take her on many adventures. The loving mother of two boys that adored her (London and Dustyn) she taught them how to laugh, live independently, and to be kind to all. Holly’s quick wit and cunning sense of humor would often be followed by her contagious laughter. Holly was always a tough, animated character that rarely sugar-coated anything but loved her family with undying devotion. She was our protector. If you were fortunate to cross paths with Holly, your encounter was ingrained in your memory for life.
Preceded in death by her parents Charmaine and Bobby, son London, Uncle Phil. Survived by her son Dustyn (Diane), brother Robert, sisters Rochelle and Robyn, husband Al, grandchildren Madison and Shea, nieces, and nephews.
Holly will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 11th, at 1:00 pm at Elysian Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may gather to share memories at 4993 South Eastridge Lane #211, Three Fountains East Condominiums.
In Loving Memory
I am so sorry to hear of the desth of my friend, Holly. I had the privilege of knowing her her through her work at the Eastside Cannery. We spent many late evenings chatting at the registration desk. I believe that we did succeed in coming up with a plan that would have solved all of the world's problems; if only people would have listened. I enjoyed every moment I ever spent with her. I mourn her passing , but I will be forever grateful for the memories of her spirit, her grace and the beauty of her soul.
