In Loving Memory of Alan Neeley
April 21, 1959 - September 11, 2025
Douglas Alan Neeley—known to those who loved him simply as Alan—passed away on September 11, 2025, in Salt Lake County, Utah, at the age of 66. Born on April 21, 1959, in Spanish Fork, Alan lived a life full of heart, humor, and unforgettable moments.
A devoted father and loyal friend, Alan was known for his deep love of family, his unwavering loyalty to the Minnesota Vikings, and his enthusiasm for NASCAR Sundays. He cherished trips to Lake Powell with his sons during their younger years, where laughter echoed off canyon walls and memories were made under desert skies. Whether rocking out to his favorite music or lighting up a room at a party, Alan brought joy, energy, and a touch of mischief wherever he went.
He is survived by his sons, Dustin Ray Neeley (Kyle Neeley) and Bryce Alan Neeley (Rachael Neeley); his brother and lifelong friend Kent Shepherd Neeley; his former wife and mother of his children Diane Rowell Neeley; and his cherished grandchildren Timothy Richard Neeley and Avery Lou Neeley
A celebration of Alan’s life will be held at Starks Funeral Parlor on Saturday, October 4th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the man who made life a little louder, a little brighter, and a lot more fun.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I added a photo from an Easter long ago -- Alan and Kent, ‘dressed to the nines’.

I added two more photos: The first is on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River –my guess. You can see Grandpa Parley R. holding Alan’s hand. But to their left stands Alan’s father, Doug. The 2nd is at Cedar Breaks. Alan is right next to Grandpa Parley R., and Grandma Josephine is holding Kent.
