James Blaine Tuttle
August 31, 1951 - September 5, 2013
Jim Tuttle passed away peacefully in his home September 5, 2013. He was born August 31st, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had a thirst for knowledge and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a BA in Psychology. He thrived in environments where he could meet new people and cultivate friendships working in Real Estate, Car Finance, and most recently Extend Health.
In Jim's spare time, you could find him rooting for his favorite sports teams; Boston Red Sox, Pittsburg Steelers and Utah Utes. As a passionate and devoted Red Sox fan, he rarely missed one of the 162 games. He brought that passion into the lives of his family and friends.
Jim also loved reading, fishing, and spending time with family. He never missed the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren whether it was swimming, watching movies or changing diapers. Grandpa was the light of their lives.
Jim was always the life of the room, ready with a witty comment that could bring a smile to anyone's face. He made friends everywhere he went and will be dearly missed.
Survived by his children Rachael (Orlando) Zizumbo, Erika (Faraze) Kukaswadia, Bryan (Sheryl) Tuttle; beloved grandchildren Jaden, Allison, Liliana and Isaiah; and by his sister and best friend Carolyn (Clyde) Banner. Preceded in death by his parents Blaine Lewis Tuttle and Beth Lewis Hall Tuttle; and sister Teena Sorensen.
A wake and viewing will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. A private graveside service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy.

I am so sorry to hear of you loss and send my condolences to Jim's wonderful family. I've had the pleasure to work with Jim and hear wonderful stories about his grandchildren. Jim loved to talk about his grandchildren and shared pictures and bragged about them often. I will miss him and still hear his voice and laugh in my head. God Bless! Sincerely, Carole Callahan

Jim and Rhonda: Sadly I learned of Jim's passing. Thinking about our crazy youth and the times before we all got divorced... Remember TLC? and the house on Major Street? It was always fun to have you guys around. We had a great group of friends. I miss you all. Love and condolences to you and your family. Ann Love

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We shared a lot of great weekends back in the late '70's boating on Flaming Gorge. I bought my first home with Jim's help. Seems like two or three lives ago. He was always positive about everything. I hope he found happiness in the years since. I also had the pleasure of knowing his sister Teena. It has been 20 years since Teena's passing, so I had lost touch with the family since then. May the Peace of the Lord be with them always.
