James “Jim” Thomas Wilson
October 13, 1964 - January 14, 2026
Jim (James Thomas) Wilson, born October 13, 1964, passed at home on January 14, 2026. Jimmy died from neurofibromatosis Type 2 which led to metastasized lesions through much of his nervous system. Jim suffered greatly and would like to bring awareness to this terrible disease. Remembered for his gentle and kind spirit, he was present in every moment. Jim was a father at heart who cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. His purpose in life was to make everyone feel loved, always doing everything he could to help others. Survived by 11 children and 8 grandchildren, siblings, his “strays” and close friends.
Jim’s funeral service will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 11:00 AM at 3051 South 2900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109, friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Jim when he was at UTA Central division. He was awesome. I have fawn memories of Jim. We had many talks. I worked at UTA from 1986 to 2021 and he is one person I remember out of all the people that passed through our shop. Find peace in knowing he is with our heavenly father.
