James R. Wittke

Gone Fishing

Our dear son and brother passed away peacefully and quietly at his home on June 6, 2012.  His soul has been set free.

James was born December 16, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Tina and Harold Wittke.  He made friends easily and was always wanting to help others.  He loved his dogs Shadow and Skeezer and enjoyed taking them camping and fishing.  James is loved dearly by his family and he will be missed.

He leaves behind his parents; sisters Yvonne Russell, Suzanne (Alex) Hoggan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where friends may call upon the family for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, offer an act of kindness.

In Loving Memory

James, I can't believe your gone. I pick up the phone to call you and realize your not there. My soul is dying that I can't see you just one more time. Please don't forget about me and I will never, ever you. I will be waiting for you to show me a sign. Please know I love you beyond words and always will. I love you, your sister Yvonne

James I love and miss you so much. Not a day will go by that I won't think of you. Until we meet again I will hold on to the memories of how funny and caring you were. I remember all the great times when we'd go camping or fishing or the numerous nights I'd spend the night at your house and we'd watch scary movies and go places and you made sure I had the time of my life. You dont truly know the depth of how much you love and charish someone until their gone. Until we meet again I love you Uncle Jamesie!

James & Debbie have been very special to me. James had many challenges but was positive in his outlook. Debbie was a wonderful wife and caretaker for many years. I will miss seeing James in our neighborhood and the support he was to Debbie. I regret that I haven't had interaction with him the past couple of years but know that he is at peace and out of the pain he endured for years. My condolensces to all of the family. Jo Ann Jensen
