Jan Lowell Munson
Jan was born October 13, 1952 to Dorothie Munson Ingram and Paul Raymond Munson in Logansport, Indiana, left us unexpectedly from a sudden heart attack on Tuesday August 31, 2010. Jan loved life and life loved Jan. His passion for music led him to own and operate Custom Car Stereo for over 20 years.
“Smilin’ Jan” lived his life to the fullest, spending his favorite times with friends and family; boating, water skiing, riding motorcycles and flying.
Jan touched the lives of many, including numerous children who would flock to his young spirit. He will be greatly missed, as he graced us all with his zest for life.
Survived by wife Joyce; son Andrew (Marissa); daughters Jennifer (Toby Mesquita), Rainy (James) Heddlesten; grandchildren Mikayla and Carter; mother Dorothie Ingram; siblings Jack (Judy) Munson; Jill (Jim) Freeman; and “his girls” Molly, Maggie, Penny and Macey. Preceded in death by father Paul Raymond Munson and brother Joe Munson.
People who loved Jan may come to celebrate his life at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, from 6-8pm on Sunday, September 5, 2010. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
