Jason Daniel Musnug

September 14, 1977 - March 21, 2024

At the age of 46, Jason Daniel Musnug passed away on March 21st, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jason was born on September 14th, 1977, in the small town of Laconia, Indiana. He blessed the lives of Harold Daniel Musnug and Donna Marie Hanson. Jason is the eldest of four children, Jonathan, Priscilla, Alexis, and the first to join his mother, Donna Marie Hanson Landau, and stepfather, Richard Landau.

Jason leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his cherished children, Andrew Robert Flores, Jade Danielle Musnug, and Audrey Valentina Musnug. His love for them knew no bounds, and his guidance will continue to inspire them.

Following his graduation from Chatsworth High School, Jason embarked on a journey filled with camaraderie and purpose. As a respected member of the Local Union 105, he found a second family amongst his peers. His dedication and professionalism as a superintendent for Doyon Construction were emblematic of his character, leaving a lasting mark on all who worked alongside him.

In the arms of Cynthia Musnug, his beloved wife and soulmate, Jason found his greatest joy. Their marriage took place at Saint John the Baptist De La Salle, and was guided by the light of Jesus Christ, blossoming over 22 years. Together, they crafted a narrative of enduring love, nurturing a family rooted in faith and compassion. Jason's adoration for Jesus Christ, marriage, fatherhood, and being the funny adventurous uncle knew no bounds.

Nature was his sanctuary, where he sought solace through hikes and moments of tranquility. He was a true Steelers enthusiast with a knack for dad jokes, Jason's infectious laughter filled every room he entered. He was a proud uncle and was always grateful for the company of loved ones. He faced life's challenges with grace and never uttered a complaint.

Jason's unwavering faith and profound connection with Jesus Christ illuminated his path and provided him with strength and guidance. His gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless love for his family will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest peacefully, Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, and Bestfriend. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by your kindness and grace. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In Loving Memory

A prayer for Jason and his family. Help us, God of love, to believe that there is no pain you cannot heal, no tragedy that is too big to overcome. Be with us in our sadness for the death of Jason.  May his family know and be comforted by your loving presence and give to us all the faith and hope to believe that Jason  has now returned to you, the source of our joy, our peace and our life. We make this prayer in the name of the one who came to tell us the good news of your love, Jesus Christ, our Lord.   Amen.

Jason was an integral part of the BRYMAX Family. He had a loving smile and was always in a good mood. He helped us day in and day out, never complaining about the long hours or sacrifices he made to work in California. We were sad to see him go to Utah, but excited that he was going to be with his family. His family meant everything to him. He was truely one of the greatest people I have had the honor of working with. Rest in peace Jason. Your Family will remain in our hearts and prayers.

Jason was always kind and warm with the family. His smile will forever be missed, but not forgotten. As Maya Angelou said, "At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel." Jason always made everyone feel welcomed and loved, and that will never be erased from our hearts as we mourn his tragic loss.

Such sad news, Jason was a great man. To Cynthia and Johnny, my deepest prayers and thoughts will be with your families. Jason was such a loving person, words can't express my thoughts. His memory will forever be in my heart. Riding in the back of his black dulley, or in his baby blue Impala, or just hanging out with him at the Mozi, or even late nights at the Goodbar, his memory will always live on. His "Okay Bye" saying is a trademark. We love you Jason, you left way too soon. May God bless your beautiful family. Until we meet again my brother, okay bye.Richy

The video of Jason and his family was beautiful . I'm thankful he had a good life.  Family and love and faith came through In the pictures.  I and school in Corydon, IN with his mother.  I could see the resemblance to her in his younger pictures.   She would have been so happy to see how he lived his life.  Thank you for loving him and sharing him. God bless and comfort you with every memory of him.
