Dear Bruce, Nola, and children, We were greatly saddened by the news we received in the 15th ward yesterday of Jason's passing. We remember you and your family with great fondness and wish we could be with you in person to give our condolences. Unfortunately, we have commitments we cannot move. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness. We know, as you do, that the separation, though hard, is only temporary and you will see and associate with Jason again. With all our love, Bill and Sharon Schaefermeyer

We are and always will be a spiritual being. As Jason leaves us back to heaven on a new mission we will allways rember him as the funny kind at the end of the block and the club house we all got kick out of so many times. The Pavant Ave clan will miss you very much. Open your wings and fly into the sky.

Jason was probaly the best friend I have ever had. He was a great guy with a huge heart. I am filled with remorse thinking about how I let us grow apart . He was a big part of my life. Alot of who I am is because of experciences shared with him as we both became men. I have been beating myself up since I heard the bad news. In the past months he has been in my heart and head all the great times we had together have flooded back to me since I started working at the airport once again. He was a great man. All of my love and prayers go to him and his family.
