Jeffrey Lynn Wolf

September 27, 1955 - August 17, 2018

Jeffrey Lynn Wolf, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend; passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 17, 2018. Jeff was born on September 27, 1955 in Murray, Utah. Son of Clyde and Anna Mae Wolf.

He was raised in Murray, UT. He graduated from Murray Highschool, and later served in the Army for three years being stationed in Germany. Jeff then worked various construction jobs as a Heavy Equipment Operator, until he started his career with the Salt Lake County Solid Waste Division. Jeff worked his way up to Operations Manager where he then retired after 30 years of service. Those that knew Jeff, remember him as being the most loving guy you would have ever met. He never knew a stranger, as everyone he met instantly became family.

His biggest passion in life was being around family and friends. Jeff married the love of his life, Peggy on November 23, 1984. They spent 33 wonderful years together with many memories to cherish. Jeff had three children whom he loved so very much. Aubrey (Cody) Garduno, Brandon Wolf (Britt Kraft), and Jessica Wolf (Thomas Kelly). He had three grandchildren Alexis, Luke, and Isaac.

Jeff is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, two brothers Mike (Debbie) Wolf, Jim (Tracy) Wolf, sister Jannette (Blair) Neilson. Jeff also had many nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom Wolf.

The Wolf family would like to sincerely and deeply thank the care givers and friends at Liberty Dialysis in West Jordan, Utah. Who took care of Jeff for the last couple years of his life. Our family would also like to thank the Level-4 Shock/Trama ICU team at the IMC Murray Hospital for the courageous support they showed Jeff during the last few days he had, ensuring he was comfortable, as well as our family and friends were comforted during the hardest days of our lives. We sincerely appreciate everything these care givers did for us. Thank you. He will truly be missed dearly by all.

A viewing for Jeff will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East in Salt Lake City. Condolences to Peggy, Brandon Jessie & other family; as you already know we (the other Wolf's & family) were very saddened hearing the news of Jeff's health declining as quickly as it had. With your prior daily life setbacks & trials we feel that your family will be going on strong with strength and courage as you have (had to be a tough decision; though a blessing in disguise as dad states sometimes). You already know Jeff was a wonderful person (at times you know) and had no problem bringing joy to others & making them happy, as we will remember him & your family. Just wanted to express how sorry we are for the passing of Jeff, knowing words are not enough to express to you how sorry everyone can be. Please give him a huge embrace from us and don't hesitate to call any of us any time you feel. May Jeff rest in Peace? Dave, Patti & family; Love and Sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was one of my closest and dearest friends growing up right down the street on 3rd west and boy how we used to tear up the neighborhood! But no matter what trouble we got in Jeff would never run away and would stand by you through thick and thin. He was a loyal friend and was always willing to help others. I will miss the flash of his smile and the twinkle in his eye. God be with you Jeff, and may you rest in peace.
