Jeff S. Christensen passed away November 30th, 2009 after a long illness.
He was born June 2nd, 1949 in Salt Lake City, UT, to Jerry Reid and Corinne Lashley Christensen.
Jeff married Sandi Chase (divorced) and later married Melody White, whom he referred to as his “Soulmate”. Melody preceded him in death.
Jeff graduated from Highland High School in 1967 and immediately joined the Marine Corps to serve his country. He was a proud Marine who served valiantly during the Vietnam War. After returning from the war he attended the U of U where he studied science and physics. Jeff was a member of the Mensa Society. He worked over 25 years as a top salesman at Fugate Industrial Sales.
Jeff loved both country and family with all his heart. Through his actions, he taught us that resiliency is a special mix of love, compassion, smarts and true grit. Armed with a fiery spirit, a keen perception, a brilliant mind, and a wicked sense of humor, he stood up and stared down life circumstances. He knew when to stand up and fight, and when to roll with the punches. We will remember a kind, decent man, full of integrity.
He is survived by his mother Corinne; daughters Marnie and Brittany; son Myke (Amy); stepdaughters Callie and Sarah; siblings Cindy, Breck, Cole (Marsha), Fancy (Mike), Sunday; and several grandchildren.
Jeff is preceded in death by his beloved wife Melody; grandmother Frankie; and father Jerry.
A special thanks to his best friends Gary and Kathy VomBaur who loved and supported him until the end. The family would also like to thank the VA Hospital and Liver Clinic who patiently and compassionately served him.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 7th at 1:00 pm at Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, north of Camp Williams. Interment to follow. A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held after the services.
In Loving Memory
Jeff will be missed by a great many people,..we will all have great memories to help ease the pain of losing Jeff. Jeff was a proud man and for very good reasons. We were saddened by the news of his passing. I wish Jeff would have continued to work with us - we missed him. Unfortunately, he left our company a short time after Melody passed away and we were only in touch a few times after that. Our heartfelt condolences and love to his family.

I loved Jeff, the first time I met him he scared the pants off of me. Then with his warm and caring ways I saw that wonderful Man. We became friends for life. We didn't see Jeff as much as we should have, but every Christmas I would get my Christmas call from him. This year will be hard not hearing that Merry Christmas. We will miss you Jeff.
