Our beloved baby brother, uncle, son, nephew and cousin Jesus Florentino Merino was born January 3, 1980 to Cristobal Merino and Josephine Velasquez Merino. He was taken tragically from us on Friday, June 24, 2011.
There are so many ways to explain the love we had for our Jesse but not enough to express how much he will be missed.
He is preceded in death by our beloved mother, grandparents and nephew.
Survived by his father Cristobal; his only brother Gary; sisters Pattie, Anita, Becki, Rita, Michelle; many nieces and nephews. We love you Oso.
Friends are invited to join the family in remembrance of Jesse at a Memorial BBQ on Saturday, July 2nd for a few hours beginning at 4:30 PM at the Hidden Grove Pavilion loaded in Sugarhouse Park.
Donations may be made at a memorial account for Jesse Merino at any Wells Fargo Building.

Jesse and I were good friends from about 5th grade to our early teens then kind of lost touch over the years. We talked on the phone pretty much every night. I just recently found out about his passing. I wish I could have attended his memorial. He was such a sweet soul. It makes me really sad that things turned out this way. Too young. Now he's an angel watching over his loved ones.
