Mauel passed away on July 3rd, 2009 in Salt Lake City Utah. He was born in La Esperanza Dgo. Mexico on March 30th, 1959.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 7th from 7 to 9 PM with a vigil at 8:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5245 South, Kearn. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8th at 1:00 PM also at the church. Interment to follow at Taylorsville City Cemetery.
