JoAnn Carpenter
JoAnn passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 53 following many years of health problems beginning at an early age with Rheumatoid arthritis, and finally Renal Failure.
JoAnn was born December 9, 1958 in the Miners Hospital, Park City, Utah to Otto W. and LaRue Hunter Carpenter.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; brother Larry W.; and sister Janet Reed. She is survived by brother Richard of Anchorage, Alaska, brother Don (Fran) of Salt Lake, and brother John (Shauna) of Park City.
Services are pending. Preparations are being made at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3691 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.

JoAnn was a beautiful young woman who came from a long line of early Park City Pioneers. It was through them she was gifted with an incredibly strong spirit that carried her through many years of extreme physical pain. She was much loved by her family, and by her brother Don who cared for her after the death of her parents. May your journey home be filled with light and beauty as you return to the arms of your loved ones.

JoAnn, you are missed very much. I lament that I never took the time to find you. I wish that we had stayed in touch better. I would always ask about you when I would see your brothers at family funerals. I remember the good times growing up in Park City. Those were fun days. Thanks to Don for talking with me for an hour and reminiscing about family.
