Jody A. Rose
January 13, 1978 - July 18, 2026
With profound sadness and deep gratitude for the gift of her life, we announce the passing of our beloved Jody, who left this world on July 18, 2026, at the age of 48. Though her time with us was far too short, she filled every moment with laughter, love, courage, and unwavering faith.
Jody was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend. She was known for her radiant beauty, infectious laugh, determined spirit, and incredible bravery. Even through life’s greatest challenges, she chose hope, grace, and love, inspiring everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Her greatest joy was her family. She was the proud and loving mother of three sons, Kai, Brennan, and Easton Liberal, who were the center of her world. She shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Jared Rose, affectionately known to her as “Jer-Bear.” Jared’s steadfast devotion, compassionate heart, and loving care were a constant source of strength throughout their journey together. Their marriage was built on deep friendship, adventure, laughter, and unconditional love.
Jody was incredibly proud of becoming a registered nurse, a dream she worked tirelessly to achieve. She passed her NCLEX nursing boards in March 2019 and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in March 2020. She often said becoming a nurse was one of the best decisions she ever made.
She dedicated her career to caring for others, working in Instacare, home health, and substance abuse treatment. Nursing wasn’t simply her profession—it was her calling. She found purpose in helping people during their most vulnerable moments, offering compassion, comfort, and dignity to every patient she encountered. Her natural maternal instincts, gentle heart, and genuine kindness made her an exceptional nurse and an unforgettable caregiver.
Outside of her career, Jody found happiness in life’s simple blessings. She loved spending time with family and friends, sitting in the sunshine, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, gathering around bonfires, and taking road trips with Jared. She especially loved celebrating the Fourth of July, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. She never turned down gummy candies, tacos, pizza, or a perfectly made breve latte. A proud Midwestern girl, Michigan always held a special place in her heart. Above all else, Jody loved God, and her faith was the foundation that carried her throughout her life.
Jody was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Max Steadman, and her paternal grandparents, Vic and Bee Lemanski.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jared Rose; her beloved sons, Kai, Brennan, and Easton Liberal; her parents, Wayne and Norine Lemanski; her brother, Chad Lemanski (Jennifer Lemanski); her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Chris and Kurt Rose; her brother-in-law, Josh Rose (Lluvia Rose); her grandmother, Florence Steadman; her co-parent and the father of her three sons, Rodrigo Liberal; and many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible hospice team at Aspire Hospice for the compassionate care they provided. We especially thank Dr. Galindo, Jericka Price, RN, Teara Adams, RN, and the entire hospice team for the kindness, dignity, comfort, and love they showed Jody and our family during her final journey. Your compassion will never be forgotten.
Jody’s legacy is one of extraordinary love, service, faith, and courage. She taught us that strength is found in kindness, that laughter can heal, and that love is life’s greatest gift. Though we will miss her beyond words, we find comfort knowing that her beautiful spirit lives on in everyone she loved, every life she touched, and every heart she helped heal.
We also find peace in God’s promise, knowing Jody is now in the loving presence of our Almighty God. Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice that she is free from pain, embraced by His eternal love. May her memory be eternal, and may we honor her life by loving one another as she so faithfully did.
A viewing and Trisagion will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church at 355 South 300 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. Funeral services will be the next day on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM located at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065.

To all of her loved ones, I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Jody personally, only through her mother-in-law Chris, but have learned so much about the loving kindness and grace Jody shared with you if you were lucky enough to know her. I hope you are all able to turn to each other for the support you need while you learn to live this next chapter of life.
With sadness we send our thoughts and prayers to those affected by Jody's passing. It is our blessed hope that God's Comfort, Grace,and Mercy will not be spared on those whom she touched most personally. Untill we meet on that Day, Rest in Peace beloved soul.
I was informed and kept up with Jody's progress thru her mother-in-law, Chris. And have known Chris and her sons since our boys were small. I am saddened by the finality. It appears that Jody fought hard thru every pathway available. What a beautiful writing about who she was. She will live on in everyone's hearts and memories for a long time. My heart is with Jared, her sons, and her whole circle of family and friends. May you be carried and guided by the loving hands of God in all you do going forward.
