Joelene Cindy Arambula

October 22, 1956 - November 15, 2025

Our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother Joelene Cindy Arambula gained her angel wings on November 15, 2025 following a recent diagnosis of cancer.  She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Gonzalo, her children, Veronica, Laura and Juan, her siblings Janette and Paul and her nine grandchildren.

There are some people who walk through life quietly and then there are those who leave a mark so unforgettable that their presence is felt long after they’re gone.  Joelene was truly one of a kind.  With a heart wide open and an ear always ready.  She was the person so many turned to.  Whether they needed comfort, honesty or simply someone who would truly listen.

Blunt as they come and never afraid to speak the truth.  She always had a way of telling it like it was, even when it wasn’t what you wanted to hear but always what you needed. Her honesty was a gift, wrapped in humor, warmth and that unforgettable mischievous cackle that could fill a room.
She never once forgot to provide her grandkids with more treats than any parent would reasonably approve of.  Every holiday was a chance for her to spoil all of the ones she loved with an amazing meal and a family gathering around the dining table.  Every visit was a celebration, every moment a  memory, every treat a reminder that she adored them beyond measure.
Her “evil” cackle, her fearless spirit, her generosity and her unwavering presence will be missed more than words can ever express.  The world is much quieter without her but her love, her strength and her one of a kind spark will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.
Forever missed, forever loved, and forever unforgettable.
A celebration of life will be on Monday, November 24 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the parking on the north side of the building.
Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 257 North 700 West, Salt Lake City. She will be laid to rest following mass at Mt.Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue & T Street.
