John A. Green
April 6, 1937 - October 4, 2013
John passed away October 4, 2013.
He was born on April 6, 1937, the twelfth child of thirteen to Ambrose and Lillie Green of Vernon, UT.
John worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed boating, riding snowmobiles and four-wheelers. After retiring from Metal Fabrication, he started a hobby (second career) of restoring tractors and took his restoration as seriously as he had his company. John loved a challenge, especially when he was told it couldn't be done. John was a man of few words who helped many.
He is survived by his daughters Carla Beckstead and Kellie Kennard; grandchildren Jared (Sara), Michelle (Tony) and Rachel (Michael); great-grandchildren Tesai, Sophie, Sadie and Graham; sisters Maralyn Murray, Pat Lasiter and Maryann Peterson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 11th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where complimentary valet parking will be provided on the north side of the building.
In Loving Memory
Carla, Kellie, Jared & Family. I am very sorry to hear that John has passed away. I have a lot of great memories with John. Snowmobiling, boating, deer hunting, ATV's were all great times with John. He was a lot of fun to be around and working next door to Complex Fab. showed me that John was a brilliant man. ( I have people ask me all the time who made my roll out stairs at the shop) We will miss John very much. And unfortunately we have other family obligations to attend to Friday but wanted to let you all know that we are thinking of you and John.

Hello Carla, Kelly and your families I was sorry to hear of your Father's passing. It has been a while since I saw John. He was a nice man. When we all lived in Clover together he used to help me with my sports equipment. One day he went to see hi in the garage. He was tooling around, and my baseball bat was broken so he put a screw in it and taped it up...good as new. After a few nice words from him I headed out again. Love you Russ McCaw See you tonight.

Though I never met Mr. Green, I have met one on his daughters. I can attest that through his parented, he molded, and helped shape them to be truly Superior persons . Karla helped by though my own fathers passing about 5 and 1/2 years ago. My prayer are now that Karla and Kellei find some comfort in their friends. and to offer my friendship in any way. If I can be of any assistance, I am here. Carey
