John Charles Haddock
September 6, 1970 - January 10, 2021
John died of a broken heart on January 10, 2021 in Missoula, Montana.
John was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming and spent his youth in Wyoming and Utah. John attended college in both Salt Lake City and in Missoula. He loved fishing, hunting and camping with numerous friends and family. These activities were rarely unaccompanied by a beer… or four. John always knew how to have a good time and keep people laughing.
John had a unique gift of keeping in touch with the people in his life, whether you were family, a coworker, a friend from school or someone he met along the way. Every relationship was important to him. He never met a stranger.
John’s grandkids were the light of his life. He is also survived by three stepdaughters, his parents Karen and Lane Summerhays, Lynn and BJ Haddock, his sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Jamie Harsh, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his 3259 Walmart Family and hundreds of friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
