Judith Anne Hecht

Judy was born to Eugene and Ines Bocco Hecht September 27, 1946 in Salt Lake City, UT. She died November 3, 2018 from complications of ILD.

She graduated from Saint Mary’s/ Judge Memorial Catholic School and Utah Technical College with an associates degree in fine art. She was an accomplished artist.

She worked as a commercial artist in the advertising and printing business for many years. She retired from Smith’s Marketplace where she met many friends.

She loved animals, taking in many strays.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and brother-in-law. She is survived by her sister, Gerri Gomez; brother, Larry Hecht (Ashlee Temple); and long time friend, Craig Bennett.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday November 8, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City; where the Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12:30pm. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street, Salt Lake City.
