Judith Erickson
Judith (Jude) Ballentyne Erickson 65, went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2012 in SLC, UT. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on January 24, 1947. Jude was raised in an orphanage by nuns and priests. They were very loving yet strict, and taught her to be obedient, disciplined, humble, and loving to others.
After graduating college Jude spent several years working for prestigious companies and did very well, receiving many awards and promotions. When her health declined, she became a resident at Avalon Valley nursing home. While battling cancer, chronic heart failure and diabetes, she was volunteering at Avalon Valley, her church and the local food bank. She was most happy when she was serving others. She remained cheerful even in adversity.
Jude had a servant's heart. She put others needs before her own. She loved people but most of all, she loved the Lord. Jude was innocent and childlike yet wise and intuitive.
Her family consisted of many, dear friends and her favorite dog, "Meshe". To those who loved her, she left a legacy of service, compassion and inspiration.
Vigil service will be held on Monday, November 5th at 5:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, with a wake to follow from 6 to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6th at 11:00 AM at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO.
In Loving Memory
Judy lived with our family for over three years in the early 1970's. It was while she was here, in Brandon, that she studied at the Assiniboine Community College. She became a part of our family, much like a big sister to our, then young, children. There is much we could share but the most important thing is to know that she was loved by us and we missed her during these past number of years.. Peace to you Judy and Go with God. . .

Jude was such a wonderful person. Our family had lost track of her over the past few years, and wondered how she was and what she was doing. How sad it is that we find her only at her passing and too late to once again express our love and appreciation for her huge heart and loving spirit. It's good to know, though, that she has now gone to another world where that huge heart and loving spirit can once again be put to good use.

Picture collages are an aualmcuction of photographs arranged right into a beautiful mosaic display. You are able to give picture collages to relatives and friends as a thoughtful handmade gift, or you may make an image collage of a unique time that you experienced to hold in your wall. To make really a awesome picture collage, it is useful to follow along with several instructions which will make the images stick out.Cut a sheet of card stock to measure 8 inches wide, 10 inches long. Cut right out specific photographs with pinking shears you want to make use of in your collage. The pinking shears can make the edges of the photos scalloped. Glue the photographs onto the card stock. Glue 1-inch wide ribbon round the edges of the card stock. Outline the edges of the photographs using glitter glue. Permit the glue to dry completely before displaying the collage.Resource:
