Judy Lynn Peterson Ballard died peacefully in her home on June 7th 2016 in Holladay, Utah at the age of 56.
Judy was adopted as a baby and was raised by the most devoted, caring parents. Judy's childhood was filled with love and she was constantly surrounded by extended family. Judy grew close to her cousins and shared a special connection that lasted throughout her life. Judy was also blessed with a best friend, Jeff Counts, who always remained by her side since they first met in Jr. high School. Judy also remained in contact with her biological family and considered her brother, Luke Duncan, to be a trusted advisor throughout her life.
Judy was a fun loving individual who loved to laugh and enjoy the company of friends. Over the duration of Judy's life, she had a love of music and enjoyed attending concerts, shopping, and traveling. Judy was a loving grandmother and devoed to her grandchildren. Judy was especially close with her grandchildren in whom she had a special connection.
Judy said that one of the best things in her life was her husband, Jim. Jim proved to be a devoted spouse who attended to Judy in her time of need. Jim was ever so patient, loving and dedicated to Judy as he brought out the best in her.
