Julia Garcia

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother Julia Garcia left us at the age of 93 on July 18, 2012

Julia was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma and was raised in Laramie Wyoming until the age of 23 when she moved to Salt Lake City.

Julia walked everywhere along the Salt Lake Valley. She also loved to play the slot machines.

She was a proud and independent woman who often worked multiple jobs to support her family.

Julia lived on her own until she was 89 years old. She was very dedicated, protective, and loved taking care of her family.

She had a special love for her grandchildren and they loved her so much.

She was preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe Martinez and Feliciana (Anquiano) Martinez. Her sister Sara and brother Sabino Martinez. She is survived by her youngest brother Frank (Iris) Martinez; her children Elaine (Stan) Fairbourn, Manny (DiAnne) Garcia, Lillian (Barry) Garcia McNatt. “Grandma Nee” had 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Too funny. Her article beuauiftlly captures everything that's wrong about San Francisco. The sad thing though is that she thinks because she's seen McCarthy Ranch, she's seen Milpitas.I'm one to talk though. I've never been to the Milpitas or any any other Walmart. I'm too much of a snob.
