Julie Ann Carter
November 30, 1961 - May 5, 2023
Julie Ann Carter was born November 30, 1961, the fourth of six children to Don & Sallie Wingeleth, in Lakewood, Ohio. She was a sweet and strong-willed child, who grew into a beautiful, independent woman. Julie was hardworking and fiercely loyal, playful and funny; she loved her family and her dog Jack; and no matter what was happening in her life, she would start the day with a positive attitude that made everyone feel better. She loved red roses, teddy bears and the color red. If you were lucky to be a friend of Julie’s, you were a friend for life.
Left behind to celebrate the life of Julie Carter is her husband, John Carter; her mother Sallie Wingeleth; siblings Sharon Ehrenkranz & husband Doug, Diane Jahne & husband Craig, Bill Wingeleth & wife Lori, Matt Wingeleth & wife Chelle, Jane Ross & husband Colin. Favorite Aunt Julie will be missed by Katie Ehrenkranz, Mike Ehrenkranz, Jack Ehrenkranz, Ted & Kristina Jahne, Don & Kelsey Jahne, Molly Jahne, Megan Wingeleth, Bobby & Abby Wingeleth, Ann Wingeleth, Jude Wingeleth, Sallie Wingeleth, Carter & Jenna Ross, Maggie Ross and Aidan Ross. Just weeks before her death, Julie happily held her infant great-nephew Beau. Julie is preceded in death by her father, Don Wingeleth.
Julie would want you to know how important you were in her life and how hard it was for her to leave you. Her brief time with you was precious and you made her life complete. Thank you to co-workers, neighbors, friends and family for the unique and various ways you made her feel special, beautiful, loved, valued, needed, appreciated, respected and known. And thank you for making her laugh. Julie had a great laugh.
A Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 Eat, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106. A Memorial Mass is Wednesday, June 28, 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84084. In celebration of Julie, please wear red.
