June Burningham Squires
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away at home surrounded by family on June 2, 2011. June was born on December 6, 1925 in Bountiful, Utah to Joseph and Ella Lodder Burningham the youngest of 9 children, all whom have preceded her in death.
June graduated from Davis High School in June 1943. Married her sweetheart Thomas E. Squires on July 3rd, 1946. She was an accomplished businesswoman and an Account Exec. for Kall FM Radio for many years.
Survived by her husband Tom; sons Michael and Timothy (Lori); 5 grandchildren Michael Jr., Tiffany (Brett), Kelly (Daniel), Joshua (Courtney), and Tyler; 5 great-grandchildren Kennedy, Malachi, Victoria, Savannah and her special backseat buddy Cheyenne; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Brandon Squires.
Graveside services to be held Tuesday June 7, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank IHC Hospice Nurse Collete, Nurse Ruth and CNA Denise for the compassionate care of our mother and a very special thank you to Daisy Hammon, Karen Zitting and Daisy Zitting for the wonderful love and care they gave to mom and to us in the final days.
